Ethomeen C/12 Emulsifying Agent

Ethomeen C/12 – ethoxylated (2) cocoalkylamines; Bis(2-hydroxyethyl) cocoalkylamines, Coco Amine 2 EO; INCI Name: PEG-2 Cocamine – is an ethoxylated coco-alkylamine. Degreaser, cleaning agent, antistatic agent, neutralizing agent, surfactant, dispersing agent, textile dyeing agent, emulsifying agent in cosmetics. Ethomeen C/12 is the main component in the preparation of Solvent Gels and serves to neutralize polyacrylic acid (Carbopol Ultrez 21) and achieve maximum gel viscosity. Ethomeen C/12 is added to prepare Solvent Gels based on non-polar solvents such as aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, limonene, turpentine, diluents.
