Clear candelilla wax is a 100% vegetable wax purified through additional filtration and bleaching. Like carnauba wax, candelilla wax is recognized for its high hardness and wear resistance, but unlike carnauba, due to its high hydrocarbon and resin content, candelilla wax stands out for its excellent water-repellent properties, creating a moisture barrier. It also stands out for its good flexibility and adhesive properties. It can be applied pure or added as an enhancer for cosmetic use, leather and hide finishing, furniture and wood finishes, varnishes, etc.
Soluble in oils, resins, alcohol, acetone, turpentine, aromatic solvents and many other organic solvents.
