PE polyethylene wax with a melting point of 130ºC is extremely hard and must be diluted or pre-diluted in a 100% aromatic solvent (xylene, shellsol A, etc.) for at least 25 minutes in a water bath.
Pure polyethylene wax increases abrasion resistance and is used as a dry lubricant. Added to other waxes, it offers a non-sticky finish and additional resistance to wear, scratches, and impacts.
