Plextol B 500 is a pure acrylic with excellent electrolytic stability and shear strength, high flexibility, and UV resistance; recommended for silicone inks and artistic paints.
In restoration, Plextol B500 is mainly used in the preparation of high-strength adhesives for relining and coating frames; also in the manufacture of thermoactive and/or solvent-activated repair tissue; it is applied in the consolidation treatments of mortars and plasters; it functions as a pigment binder for retouching.
The dispersion contains no film-forming aids, APEO, solvents, or plasticizers.
Soluble in water, alcohol, acetone, MEK, xylene, or in a mixture of solvents.
