3M Scotch-Weld 10 Neoprene Contact Adhesive is a versatile solvent-based adhesive. It immediately provides high strength that allows for handling and good heat resistance, and is frequently used to join most metals and plastics. It is also suitable for large surface panel applications or composite lamination.
A versatile adhesive for rubber and joints, 3M Scotch-Weld 10 Neoprene Contact Adhesive has been one of our most versatile solvent-based adhesives for demanding surface laminations for over 60 years. It provides excellent resistance to heat and water, performing at temperatures up to 149°C. Easy to spray and dries quickly, yet allows time for positioning without slowing down work processes. Recommended applications: Composite panel construction; General contact adhesive applications; Carpentry. Applying your adhesive: Whether sprayed, brushed, or roller-applied, applying 3M adhesive is a simple process. Start by carefully applying the adhesive to the surface until an even layer is formed. Using an overlay pattern, applying one coat should be sufficient for most surfaces. Some substrates, including porous materials, may require an additional layer. To add more adhesive, simply wait until the existing adhesive is dry to the touch, and then proceed with applying the additional layer. Consult the Technical Data Sheet
